Pop a label on it.

Labels are the thing people forget the most when making a quilt. Not only do we sometimes forget but its hard to find some funky ones.

We have solved the problem!

We have just got these funky label panels in. They come in two colour ways, pink, red, white and also green, blue, grey, white. (see photo below). Each panel is $15.60 and comes with 45 labels in all different styles.

These are designed by one of our favourite fabric company Riley Blake. They always bring out the coolest ranges and they also have a very cool website http://www.rileyblakedesigns.com/ they have a section called Cutting Corners and they have heaps of free patterns and How-To’s.  Very worth a look.

Here is a quick glimpse of our new quilt made up in Valori Wells new fabric range called ‘Nest’. We think it is just adorable! We are making up kits for this quilt which come with all the fabric to make the top and binding and the pattern.

Her new range also comes in a pink, white and orange colour way!

I’M BACK!!

It has been a while since I have made any show of living on our blog site! Life has been so busy and unfortunately the blog has been the last thing on my mind. Anyway I’m back and ready to get blogging again.

We have been busy with the Craft and Quilt Fair here in Hamilton and also we had a stall down in shaky Christchurch. They both went really well and meet lots of wonderful people!

As thought, our cuddle fabric went really well with all our kits we had been making up and everyone was loving all the different colours we had.

Anyway, we have had SO much fabrics into the shop in the last couple of months, there is just too much to show you all on here so I thought I would just show you my favourite fabric we have got in. I just loooove this fabric! It is just crying out to be made into a cute kiddies dress!

Happy sewing 🙂
