Our friends from Shannon Fabric’s ( cuddle company ) have come out with these adorable little babies. The little animal comes fully made out of cuddle fabric and comes with fabric to make a little snuggle blanket that you attach to its hand. These seem to be all the rage with little kids as they can have a little friends to hug but also a little blankie so snuggle into at the same time. We have 3 different animals, Mr Monkey, Elle Elephant and Dorris duck. We have only got a few of each so get in quick if you want one. They are $49.00 each for the ready-made toy and 2 fabrics to make little blankie. SO CUTE!

While at Quilt Market, we picked up a few really cute dress patterns and one of the new ones is called Vintage Jane by Pink Fig. I have been hard at it and made this little baby. It is made in a Riley Blake fabric called Daydream by Cyndi Walker. The pattern comes as the dress ( as I have made it ), or as a tunic top. Now all I need is a willing 4-year-old to give it a whirl.

We are home from our big adventure to the USA and filled with new ideas and very inspired by all the new things we saw. There is so much to share I don’t think it would all fit on this page, so I will just share some of the photos we took of the show and of our adventures in San Francisco and Salt Lake City.

Gloria Loughman’s classes are well underway this week and everyone is having a ball! The ladies were all a bit nervous before coming to the class, ( it is understandable as we are in the presence of a world-famous lady, ) but all of the work that is coming out of this two-day class is AMAZING!! Everyone has picked very different photos to get inspiration from, so there is a wide range of coloured landscapes being developed. They are all working really hard and we might have a few so close to finishing quilts at the end of today.
Tomorrow we have our one day class, we are very excited to see the results of this one aswell.
We also have lots of new ‘Gloira inspired’ quilts hanging in the work room. Half of them are her own quilts that she has let us put on display. The other half is quilts that were made in the previous class that Gloria took a few years back and also a few quilts some ladies have made from Gloria’s book.
