Here are the 3 that we have just got in, Little Vicky in sizes 1 years to 6 years, Claire Marie topcoat in sizes 2 years to 10 years and Macy Giggles in size 2 years to 14 years. Climbing Jacob’s Ladder

Here is a beautiful new quilt that we have just finished making. It is a new pattern that we got while we were in Salt Lake City ( I seem to be saying that a lot lately,) It is from a designer called Colette Belt and her designs are amazing. The quilt is called Climbing Jacob’s Ladder and is based around the block ‘Jacob’s Ladder. We have done this quilt up in Batik’s and used a vary of blues with touches of red which look just stunning.  It uses Fat Quarters and also a bit of meterage.

The pattern is available now for $20.00.

Trim Trim Trim

We love trim! You can add it to everything. We have been going around the shop trimming everything, so now lots of our girls dresses have trim added to them and if I do say so myself, they look AMAZING!!! These are all little goodies we got from Salt Lake City. We have lots of Ric-Rac now, cute poka-dots and little cute prints aswell. They aren’t going to last long and we probably wont be able to get anymore. They are between $2 – $3 per meter.

Coolest Kid in Town

I really do love my job, I get to make these adorable little pieces of clothing up in such cute fabric. On our travels away we got in some new girls dress patterns and they are by a company called ‘Modkid’. This little top is called ‘nina’. It comes in 3 options, long sleeve, short sleeve and singlet style. It was such a breeze to put together and looks so cute. We have also got lots of new trims in stock and I just had to embellish this little baby. The pattern also comes with a simple skirt but I then got a pair of plain jeans and appliqued some of the flowers from the material onto the bottom and added the same spotty ribbon to the bottoms of the jeans. I think it needs a denim hat and this outfit would be complete.

Can’t wait to put my little niece in it for photos.

The pattern comes with sizes 2 years up to7 years.

Kiddies corner

We have now set up a children’s play area so that parents can come in and not be worried about their kids getting into everything, with books, block and animals to play with we welcome mothers with our arms open 🙂

12×12 blog

If any of you saw at the Craft and Quilt fair in Hamilton last year, there was a special exhibition from a group of 12 ladies from around the world. They each made 12 blocks that are 12″ square. Each 2 months they got together and a random person was chosen to come up with a topic that the group would then create their next 12″ quilt on. They all just blew us away, and we decided to get a group together and have some fun and do the same. We are onto our 4th quilt and some amazing things have been made. We have made up a blog so we can put photos and comments up of our progress. Check it out at
