Bobbin storage problem? Problem solved.

Clover have come up with this amazing new product that is called the ‘Stack ‘n Store Bobbin Tower’. It can hold up to 30 bobbins in an organized and ever so cute fashion. It can hold any type of bobbin and it will secure the thread ends in so you are left with no mess. Each level of the tower can be removed and you can stack as many towers on top of each other as you like.

They are $39.50 for each tower.

Machine Quilting Unlimited July

The next issue if this fantastic magazine is now in our hot little hands. Once again, they keep blowing us away with all the amazing things they put in their magazines, both inspirational and informative. We always try to keep a good stock of the newest copy as well as all back issues we can get our hands on, however it is proving extremely popular and most of our back issues we have are flying out the door.

Each magazine is $18.00 and comes out every 2 months. We are also doing a mail order subscription for these, meaning we will send you the newest copy as soon as we get it in. Give us an e-mail if you are interested in signing up.

Our favorite little snips have come back in stock. We have been waiting for what seems like forever for them to come in, but they are now here! We have two kinds, the original curved blades and the new snips with a little hook on one side of the blades. These are fantastic for unpicking but I also just use them for ever day snipping.

Climbing Jacob’s Ladder

Here is a beautiful new quilt that we have just finished making. It is a new pattern that we got while we were in Salt Lake City ( I seem to be saying that a lot lately,) It is from a designer called Colette Belt and her designs are amazing. The quilt is called Climbing Jacob’s Ladder and is based around the block ‘Jacob’s Ladder. We have done this quilt up in Batik’s and used a vary of blues with touches of red which look just stunning.  It uses Fat Quarters and also a bit of meterage.

The pattern is available now for $20.00.

Trim Trim Trim

We love trim! You can add it to everything. We have been going around the shop trimming everything, so now lots of our girls dresses have trim added to them and if I do say so myself, they look AMAZING!!! These are all little goodies we got from Salt Lake City. We have lots of Ric-Rac now, cute poka-dots and little cute prints aswell. They aren’t going to last long and we probably wont be able to get anymore. They are between $2 – $3 per meter.

Coolest Kid in Town

I really do love my job, I get to make these adorable little pieces of clothing up in such cute fabric. On our travels away we got in some new girls dress patterns and they are by a company called ‘Modkid’. This little top is called ‘nina’. It comes in 3 options, long sleeve, short sleeve and singlet style. It was such a breeze to put together and looks so cute. We have also got lots of new trims in stock and I just had to embellish this little baby. The pattern also comes with a simple skirt but I then got a pair of plain jeans and appliqued some of the flowers from the material onto the bottom and added the same spotty ribbon to the bottoms of the jeans. I think it needs a denim hat and this outfit would be complete.

Can’t wait to put my little niece in it for photos.

The pattern comes with sizes 2 years up to7 years.
